PEOCLAMATION. Byhis HoDor Oswald Ci'htis, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Nelson, in the Islands of New Zealand, &c, &c, &c. rf7 HER EAS, by an Act passed by the •» Superiuteudent aud Provincial Council of the Province of Nelson, iu Session X, No. 5, intituled, " An Act to provide for the abatement of the Dog Nuisance," it is enacted that the said Act shall come into operation withm cetialn District?, and iu such other Districts as shall be proclaimed by the Superinteadeut in the Government Gazette for the Proviuce, upon the request of a majority of the residents electors in such Districts :
Now, therefore, I, the said Superintendent, at the request of a majority of the resident Electors of the Town of Westport, do hereby proclaim and declare that the said Act shall come into operation, within a radius of two miles from the Court-House, in the said Town of "Westport, on and after the First day of July next. Giveu under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province at Nelson, this Fifth day of April, One thousand eight hundred and OSWALD CURTIS Superintendent.
