TITHE RE AS, by an Act passed by tbe '» Superintendent aod Provincial Council of tbe Province of Nelson, iu Session X, No. 5, intituled. " An Act to provide for tbe abatement of tbe Do:* Nuisance," it is enacted that tbe said Act shall come into operation within certain Districts, and in sucb other Districts as shall be proclaimed by the Superiuteudent in tbe Government Gazelle for tbe Proymr-e, upon tbe request of a majority of the residents electors in sucb Districts : Now, therefore, I, tbe said Superintendent, at the request of a majority of the resident Electors of the Town of TVestport, do hereby proclaim and declare that the said Act shall come into operation, within a radius of two miles from the Court-House, in tbe said Town of Westpcrt, on and after the First day of July next. Given under my hand, and issued under tbe Public Seal of tbe Province at Nelson, this Fifth day of April, One thousaud eight hundred and sixty-nine. OSWALD CURTIS Superintendent.
