MR. GALLAGHER, M.H.R.
(To the Editor of the Westport Times.) Sin, —In your issue of Saturday you state that Mr Gallagher, M.H.R., intends addressing his constituents at Addison's Flat and Charleston, but does not propose having a meeting at "Westport unless it be specially desired. Now I think it is only due to Mr Gallagher that he should have an opportunity of giving an " account of his stewardship " and to explain his views on questions likely to come before the House in the ensuing session, here as well as at Addison's Plat and Charleston. I therefore hope that he may find it convenient to meet the electors here before he leaves for "Wellington.—l am, yours &c, As" Electoe. Westport, May 22.
Domesticks thinks it conclusive evidence of drunkenness when he sees a man " sticking a postage-stamp behind his left ear, and attempting to get into a letter-box to go by the mail train."
