I, Joseph Giles, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Buller, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a writ, bearing date the 17th day of February, 1869, issued under the hand of his Honor the Superintendent of the Province of Nelson, an election will be held for the return of a qualified person to serve as a member of the Provincial Council for the said Electoral District, and that the nomination of Candidates will take place at the Court House, Westport, on Saturday the 20th day of March, 1569, and that the poll (if necessary) will be taken on Thursday, the 25th day of March, 1869.
