£ WESTPORT. ! ( HIOH WATER. j This "Day ... 8.30 a.m., 9 0 p.m. To-morrow 9.30 a.m., 10.0 p.m. DEPABTFEES. , Waipara, s.s., for southern ports. Heavy weather has been experienced since Tuesday morning, and, except the departure of the steamer Waipara last evening, there lias been no shipping incident for the past two days. The sailing vessels outside the port have apparently been driven southward. The surf was very heavy, and it would probably detain some of the steamers in the other ports, as the Waipara has been detained at this port. The Waipara proceeds on this occasion oil her trip to Okurita, Jackson s Buy, and the other southern harbors. I
