Per Wallabi, from Wanganui—3B head of cuttle, 1 cow, 170 sheep, 32 pigs, 119 bags potatoes, 1 crate ducks, 4950 bricks, Preeth and Greig. The s.s. Wallabi left Wanganui on Saturday morning, and experienced fine weather v>:th smooth water during her run down. She arrived in the river on Sunday evening at and Irought a ca-go of live stock in tine condition. Amongst the late arrivals in Ilobson's Bay is a compact-looking tidy little clipper, which proved to be the Maori, steamer, from the Clyde, under canvas. She has come out to Melbourne to Messrs Turnbull, Smith, and Co., and is intended for the New Zealand (wasting trade, for which site appears to be well adapted. The Maori was built at Port Glasgow, at the yard of Messrs Blackwood and Gordon, who have taken great pains to render iier a serviceable vessel. Her dimensions are — Length, 144 ft j beam, 19ft; depth of hold, 9ft b'in. She is 247 tons builders' measurement, and her registered tonnage (new measurement) is 132, and her carrying capacity on ten feet draught of water is 211 tons. She is a Screw boat, and the rate of speed attained on her trial trip was ten and a half knots.
