COMMERCIAL.
The amount of revenue collected at the Custom House for the past two days was .£152 17s 6d. Dunedix.—The Daily Times of the 6th inst. reports:— Markets possess rather a buoyant tone than otherwise. We have no alterations in values to record. BreadstufFs remain extremely quiet; trade parcels of flour selling at the mills at maintained rates ; but nothing doing ~ ill wheats or in feeding grain. The demand for liquids has been light; but we hear of moderate lines of brandies moving at last qdotations, and of a fair parcel of whiskies at a pries not transpiring. Hemp goods have had attentiou ; but for cornsacks buyers are as yet indisposed to meet holders' prices, and at the figures asked, no business appears to have been done. Woolpacks are quoted at from 4s 3d to 4s 6d. Teas are quiet, and sugars, though quitting at high prices, are necessarily so only in very small parcels. Kerosene has been asked for; but no sales transpiring at improved rates.
