T THE UNDERSIGNED, JOSEPH -I j PAUL, hereby make application to REGISTER "THE PIONEER QUARTZ MINING COMPANY (Registebed)," under the provisions of " The Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865," and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely : 1. The name and style of the company is The Pioneer Quartz Mining Company (Registered). 2. The place of operations is on the banks of the Waimangaroa River, in the Province of Nelson. 3. The nominal capital of the company is five thousand four hundred pounds, in two hundred and sixteen shares of twenty-five pounds each. 4.
