Beautiful Star s.s. from Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. General cargo and 400 sheep. Passengers.—Miss M'Kenna and Mr Crawley. E. Houghton, Agent. IMPORTS. Per Wanganui, from Wanganui—46 head of cattle, 350 sheep, 50 pigs, 1 horse, 3 cases of poultry, Dick and Seaton. Per Wallabi, from Wanganui —180 sheep, 50 head cattle, 7 calves, 1 cow, 14 pigs, 2000 bricks, 1 ton new potatoes, 50 pair fowls, 20 pair geese, 13 pairs turkeys, 1 ton fresh butter, Freeth and Greig. The s.s. Wallabi left Wanganui on Weduesday night last. Experienced rough weather during that night and the following day, and reached this port yesterday afternoon, crossing the bar about three o'clock. She brings a general cargo of produce, consigned to the owners, Messrs Freeth and Greig. The s.s. John Penn left Wanganui for Manukau about ten o'clock on Tuesday, but on getting out-side the heads found such a strong gale blowing, and so heavy a sea on, that Captain Carey determined on returning to port. In addition to the above, the steamer Eangatira, Wanganui, Wallabi, Woodpecker, and Beautiful Star, and the brig Lady Denison were in the river awaiting the return of better weather to proceed to their respective destinations.
