Maiden Plate of 10 sovereigns, added to a Sweepstakes of 2 sovereigns each, for all horses that have never started for an advertised race, — one mile Weight for age. 2nd race. Packers' Purse of 10 sovs. added to sweepstakes of 2 sovs each, for all horses regularly employed in pficking on the Nelson South West Goldfields for three months previous to the races.
