ELECTION NOTICE. ELECTORAL DISTRICT OF BULLER. TN pursuance of the provisions of an Act of the G-eneral Assembly of New Zealand, intituled " The Regulation of Elections Act, 1858," I, Joseph Giles, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Buller, do a writ, bearing date the 16th day of November, 1868, issued under the hand of his Honor the Superintendent of the province of Nelson, an Election will be held for the return of a qualified person to serve as a member of the Provincial Council of the Province of. Nelson for the said Electoral District, and that the nomination of Candidates will take place at the Court House, Westport, on Saturday the 9th day of January, 1869; and that the Poll (if necessary) will be takon on Wednesday the 13th day of January, 1869. Dated this 14th day of December, JOSEPH GILES, Returning Officer. The following places are polling places for the Electoral District of POLLING PLACES; The Court House, "Westport (Principal Polling Place). Mr John Braithwaite's Store, Caledonian Terrace. The Court House, Addison's. JOSEPH GILES, Returning Officer. Dated the 14th day of December, 1868. mO BE LET Furnished, a THREE ROOMED COTTAGE, with OutHouses, pleasantly situated on the Beach, securely fenced in. Apply to Mr COOPER, Bailiff, Westport. mO BE LET or SOLD, the COURT--1 HOUSE HOTEL, Apply to OEO. CLARKE, Odd-Eellows' Hotel, Gladstone-street. LOST. A T Westport on the 30th ultimo, a SMALL LEATHER CASE, bearing the name of R. Habbis ; containing two Masonic Aprons. Any one bringing the above to the office of this paper will be rewarded.
