Conditions—Eaces only open to horses the bona fide property of residents on the Nelson South West Goldfields, and stabled and ' owned there by thein at this date. There must be three entries, or no race. The decision of the Stewards in all cases to be final. All Entries, except those marked " Post Entry," to be sent in to the Secretary on or before Christmas Eve, with the names, and colors of the riders. Packers' Purse of 10 sovs. added to sweepstakes of 2 sovs each, for all horses regularly employed in packing on the Nelson South West Goldfields for three months previous to the races.
