The p.s. Charles Edward left Nelson on • the 23rd inst., at 3 p.m. Experienced strong westerly weather, and put into Totaranui. Remained there in company with the Elizabeth, Mary Louisa, and Rambler, all for this port. The wind -moderating, she got underway at 2 p.m. on the 25th ; anchored oif Bush End at 5 p.m.; left again at 9 p.m.; and arrived here at 4 p.m. on the 26th, experiencing during tho passage head winds and a high sea. She brings twenty passengers and a full She leaves for Greymouth this evening at seven o'clock. The ship Western Empire, from Bombay to Callao, has put into Hobart Town, with her crew in mutiny, and the captain confined to his cabin.
