A CONTRADICTION.
{To ilie Editor of the Westport Times and Charleston Argus.) Sir, —I bog you to be so kiud as to give publicity to the following : It has been reported in Westport that I (&. Dunn, of Giles Terrace), asserted that on Wednesday night, the 4th inst., I lost a sura of money either while in company of Mr Fugg, the night-watchman, or at Mr O'Brien's, the British American Hotel. I hereby beg to contradict such, fori did not lose any money ; and, furthermore, I beg to thank Mr Eagg for taking mo to Mr O'Brien's, and him (Mr O'Brien) for sheltering me when iu a helpless state.—Tours &c, George Dunn.
