The s:s., John Penn, left Nelson on Thursday at 2.09 p.m., came to an anchor off Managua heads on Friday at 10,30 p.m., and arrived at tho Onehunga Wharf early ou the following morning. Saiied again on Saturday afternoon, cleared the Heads at 6 p.m., and arrived alongside tho Nelson wharf on Sunday at 10.30 p.m., thus making the run in twenty eight and a half hours. She arrived in the river yesterday morning at ten o'clock, and proceeded to Hokitika with last night's tide. The p.s., Charles Edward left yesterday morning for Manakau, via Nelson, with passengers ;'.nrl eargo.
