POST OFFICE SAVINGS' BANKS.

The New Zealand Gazette, of March 25th publishes the followingj regulations for the banks as above newly established at Christchurch Lyttelton, Kaiapoi, Timaru, Akaroa 1. Interest at he rate of 5 per cent per annum is given on sums less than £2oo'- at the rate of 4 per cent, per annum on sunw over .£500; and in the same proportion™ any shorter time on every complete .£1 deposited, provided that no interest be allowed on more than £SOO. lu 2.
