Westvout Times Office, Monday Evening, The amount of duty collected at the Custom House yesterday was £O9 9s 3d The revenue received for the week ending Saturday Ist August has been £1217 9s Id, of which £044 8s 5d was duty on 51550zs 7dwts and 2grs of gold exported, and JE573 Os 8d on imports. i*er Alary from Melbourne, we are in receipt of an assorted cargo, and arrivals of live stock are expected per Wallabi and Beautiful Star from Wanganui. Tho markets during the week have been steady at former prices, and an improvement in business is noticeable. Flour is asked for at last week's quotations. The supply of spirits received during the week has been huge, and the demand for general produce from a neighboring goldfield in excess of last week. The Union Bank shipped lOOOozs of gold during the week, and the Bank of New Zea. land 415Sozs. Live stock arc looked for and highest prices will be obtained for expected arrivals, the trade is good but. the weather Jyesterday made business appear dtdl.
