Per Charles Edward, for Nelson—2 cases drapery, Wkytc and Tirie : 1 pkge do do, The Charles Edward left Hokitika at five o'clpek on the evening of Tuesday last, ran direct to this port, arriving off the bar at about two o'clock yesterday morning : fine weather with light N.K. winds, crossed the bar at 6.30 a.m., discharged her cargo and cleaved out for Nelson direct at four in the afternoon. She reports that the Hokitika bar is very shallow with a set to the Northward.
