Charles Edward arrived from Nelson yesterday afternoon, after an excellent passage from Nelson. She left again last night for the southern ports. The little schooner Amateur has cleared for Mokihmui, with a full cargo for Mr E. Smirk, storekeeper, there. She will bring back coal, and will, most likely, bo kept in this trade. Though small she is very handy, very fast, and a good little sea boat, and is in every way adapted for this route. The non-appearance of the Kennedy is occasioning considerable speculation. Surely she should come up during the night, and be on hand this morning.
