CHEAP AND PRIME MEAT.

To tlie Editor of the Westport Times and Charleston Argus. Sir,—l find that others in my trade, followed my example on Saturday last in supplying the public with meat at the price T advertised that morning. This I have no objection to, all I ask, is, that as I compelled the reduction the public may patronise the pioneer of cheap meat. There are some things however that I do object to. One is their tearing the bills in half, that I paid for, and sticking them up in their shops as their own. Next I object to their taking my bill verbatim, and having copies printed as their own production. Surely, in such a case, wooden heads and chopping blocks must go together, for if heads had contained brains they could have written a bill for themselves. As it is, they first steal my bills, next my brains, and lastly, try and make the public believe that they were the authors of the reduction in the price of meat. It's no use, the public won't believe them, and if their meat is as poor as their literay ability appears to be, their customers will have no great reason for satisfaction. Hoping you will insert this, I am, Sir, Tours, &c, W. Woolfe, Pioneer of cheap and good Meat.
