The s.s. John Perm was delayed a tide owing to the captain, chief officer, and others on board having to appear as witnesses in the prosecution of Shipley and Barrett at the District Court. She sailed again last night for Nelson. The s.s. Bruce lias not got away yet. She will leave this morning for the South, with the Hokitika and Grey mouth cargo of the Beautiful Star. The Beautiful Star left Dunedin at 6 p.m. on Saturday, 30th May. Arrived at Lyttelton as 8 p.m. oji Sunday ; remained there till 4 p.m. on Tuesday. Passed Cape Campbell at 11 a.m. Wednesday —Terawiti at 3 p.m. same clay. Arrived in Wellington at 10 a.m. Thursday. Cleared Wanganui at 11 p.m. on Saturday, aricl arrived off the bar at 4 a.m. yesterday, and crossed at 11 a.m. She brings about 80 tons cargo for Westport. The Star will leave for Auckland Goldfields, via Manakan, on Wednesday next, at noon, if inducement oilers.
