The fine schooner Mary, belonging to Spenee Brothers, arrived in the roadstead on Thursday night, after a fine trip from Melbourne. She left the heads on the 17th and had moderate weather (luring her passage down, but lias been knocking : about off the land for four days before making the Buller. She is at present anchored in the roadstead, and will wait the arrival of the Lioness to tow her up the river. The latter vessel is expected daily from llokitika. The barque, Nightingale, which left this port on the 2nd, reached Newcastle on the 14th inst., after another good passage. The schooner "William and Julia, arrived oil the bar on Tuesday last, but she was not able to get in till yesterday, when the Bruce, after her arrival, went out and towed her in. She brings a full cargo of produce, the chief portion of which is oats. She left Kaiapoi on the 14th inst., and has experinced fine winds with variable weather during the passage.
