The s.s. Wanganui left Wellington on .Tuesday night last at five o'clock, and arrived at Wanganui at lo o'clock on Wednesday morning. She discharged cargo that day, and on Thursday shipped a large number of stock. bne leifc on Friday at 10.30 a.m., and arrived here about the same sime on Saturday. She went over to the lagoon and discharged, and will sail this morning for Wanganui. The s.s. Beautiful Star left Dunedin on Friday, the Ist hist,, at 9 a.m. Arrived at Lyttelton on Saturday morning at 9 o'clock. Left Lyttelton at 5 p.m. the same day, and arrived at Wellington at 5 p.m. on Sunday. Beached Wanganui on Thursday morning, loft on Saturday, and arrived off the port yesterday afternoon. She brings a large general cargo consigned principally to this port. The s.s. Wallabi left on Friday night for Greymouth and Hokitika, but on reaching the former place, learnt it would not be possible for her to enter at Hokitika in consequence of the heavy surf on. She accordingly discharged at. the Grey, and came back on Saturday night. She sailed for Wanganui last night, and will return from there vfa JN'elson. The Murray arrived in Wanganui on Thursday evening last, and as her car<*o was waiting for her there she would meet with quick despatch. She may therefore be looked lor hourly. Up to the time of going to press there were no signs of the Kennedy, but she will probably put :u itii appearance to-day.
