TOUT OP WESTPORT. HIGH WATER. This Day ... 2.24 a.m., 2.48 p.m. Alt RIVALS. April 27 —John Penn, s.s., from Hokitika, Wallaby, s.s., Daniels, from the Grey. DEPARTURES. Nil. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Northern Light, from Melbourne. Florence, from Melbourne. VESSELS IX PORT. Barque—Nightingale. Ketches—Mary, Constant. Steamers—Wallaby, John Penn. The s.s. John Penn arrived at the wharf at 11.45 o'clock with 35 passengers, and will sail this day, for Nelson, at 11 a.m. She was detained 24 hours at Greymouth owing to the rough state of the bar. The s.s. Wallabi arrived at the wharf at midnight. Captain Daniels reports that he left the Buller on Friday morning at 10 a.m., discharged cargo at Fox's, and took in freight and passengers, and arrived at the Grey at 10 p.m. The bar at the Grey was unworkable on Sunday. Left the Grey at 1 p.m. yesterday, and anchored in the roadstead at 9 -p.m., arriving at the wharf as above.
