She has not yet returned to portThe Waipara left Hokitika wharf at 12.30 on Saturday night, and owing to the heavy sea was unable to put in either to Fox's or Charleston. She crossed the bar at 11.45 a.m. yesterday. She brings six passengers and a general cargo for hero and Charleston. The Young American, the ketch so lately completed in the Bidler, and on her first voyage fo Mokihinui for coal is, we under stand, ashore at that place. We understand she will be got off without any great damage being done to her. The Beautiful Star left on Saturday; met with bad weather, and crossed the bar at 12.30 last night. She brings 53 pigs, 180 sheep, 48 head cattle, and 4 calves.
