GENTLEMEN—The "Writ having been issued for the Election of a Member for North "Westland m the G-eneral Assembly, I take the earliest opportunity of declaring my intention to solicit your suffrages. It is in the G-eneral Assembly the Goldfields need the advocacy of their claims to those considerations necessary to their advancement, and this alone can come from parties intimately acquainted with their wants.
