Monday was quite a busy day on the beach. The day was beautifully calm, and our old friends the Flora Macdonald and Fairy entered without the least difficulty. The steamer Waipara soon followed, bringing a few passengers from Westport, and taking a good few awav southwards, amongst them Mr Broad, who happening to be down in the bay preferred returning to Brighton by water to his iisual ride overland. The Flora Macdonald brings another cargo of produce on her captain's account, and the' Fairy is loaded with timber for Mr GHbbons. There was another craft off the port all day, but a long way from the land ; one of the harbor boats however took a long pull out to her to see about getting her in next tide.
