Act of tlie General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled " The Regulation of Elections Act, 185S, I, Joseph Giles, Returning OlHcer for the Electoral District of Westland North, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a writ, bearing date the third day of March, 1868, issued unties the hand of his Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, an Election will be held for the return of a qualified person to serve as a Member of the House of Representatives for the said Electoral District, and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at the Court House, Westport, on SATURDAY, the fourth day of April, 1868 ; and that the Pell (if necessary) will be taken on THURSDAY, the ninth day of April, 1868.
