RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
(Before J. Giles, Esq., M.D., R,M.) Tuesday, March 10. fracas at bailiff's sale. Henry Clune appeared to answer a charge against him by Mr O'Brien, bailiff, but as Mr Tyler, who appeared for defendant, not an adjournment of the case until this day at 10 a.m., we forbear from giving any particulars. The Court was occupied some considerable time in hearing several civil cases. WARDEN'S COURT. Lenahan and party who had obtained a grant of land on Addison's Flat, by a decision given by the Warden on the 28th ult., appeared to answer the charge preferred against them by Hart and party, for having obtained such judgment by fraud and misrepresentation. The plaintiffs therefore applied for a repeal of the grant on these grounds. The case excited great interest, and a number of witnesses on both sides were examined. The Warden, after a careful hearing, cancelled the graut as allowed at the former hearing, thereby virtually reversing the decision of the first trial.
