The s.s. Murray left Nelson on Monday, at 10 p.m. ; experienced strong head winds and sea; got off the bar at 8.40 a.m. yesterday, and steamed over the bar at 2.20 p.m. She brings several passengers, a cargo of cattle, and two horses.
The p.s. Nelso.i left Hokitika or. Tuesday morning; put into the Grey, landed cargo and passengers. She called off Brighton, and came into port on Wednesday morning at 5.30. Last evening she left for Nelson, with a few passengers and a small shipment of goods for Mr Beauchamp.
