RESIDENT MAGISTATE'S COURT.
Thursday, February 27. (Before T. A. S. Kynnersley, Esq.,R.M.) BREACH OE LICENSING- ORDINANCE. Henry Fry was charged by the police with a breach of the Licensing Ordinance. Mr Tyler defended Ery, and applied for an adjournment to enable his client to subpoena certain witnesses, who were necessary for the defence. The Police opposed the application, but the magistrate granted an adjourned hearing for Saturday next at 10 a.m. In the Warden's Court, an application by Long and Party for right to tunnel through Ham and Parties' ground on the Caledonian was granted, ieave being reserved to the objectors to work the whole ef their ground close up to either side of the tunnell. The Court then adjourned until 10 a.m. this day.
