Northern Light, from Melbourne. Mary Gumming, from Melbourne. Mary Ann, from Melbourne. VESSELS IN" PORT. Schooners—Sea Breeze, Escort, Rambler, Ada, Fairy. Cutter—Dart. Ketches—Constant, Mary. Steamers Southland, Beautiful Star, Wanganui, Murray. IMPORTS. Per Murray—2 hhds ale, Trimble; 6 hhds ale, Gilmer Bros; 3 packages rope, Rowlands; 3 cases, King; 2 sheets iron, 53 burs iron, 4 ! bars steel, Hunger; 13 eases fruit, 2 cases potatoes, 2 cases eggs, I keg butter, Gittens; I bale fishing nets, Rowlands; 1 case fruit, Martin. The screw steamer, Wanganui, arrived in port yeste. day, from Wanganui, with 20 head cattle, 500 sheep, 6 horses, and sundry pigs and calves on board. She left Wanganui at II a.m. on Friday morning; spoke the Margaret Campbell, bound for Nelson, on her passage, and crossed the bar at noon yesterday. She experienced very rough wind and se on the passage. By the captain we have received Wanganui files to the 25th ult. The steamers, Southland and Murray, took refuge from the expected freshet, in the Lngoon yesterday, where they now lie snug. The schooner, Fairy, was towed into port yesterday by the Southland; she brings a cargo of general produce from Onehunga.
