CHARLESTON.

The entertainment of the Simonsen troupe on Thursday evening was a varied one, and we need scarcely add was as excellently carried through as all the previous ones. In the second part the whole of the. second act of Weber's charming opera of Der Freischutz was performed in character by Madame Simonsen and Miss Rebecca Jones. Madame Simonsen is as consummate an actress as she is a song* stress, and she ably sustained by Miss Jones, whose freshness and purity of voice is very grateful to the ear. We expect to see a bumper house on Saturday evening, the last night, we i believe, of their appearance in Charleston.
