Feb. 19—Waipara, s.s., 48 tons, Baseand, for Mokihinni. Bruce, p.s., 84 tons, Kerley, master, for 'Greymouth and Hokitika. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Northern Light, from Melbourne. Mary Cumming, from Melbourne. Mary Ann, from Melbourne. Evening Stat, fromWanganui. VESSELS IN PORT. Schooners—Ada, Standard, Sea Breeze, Escort. Cutter—Dart. Ketches —Constant, Mary. Steamers—Southland. IMPORTS. Per Waipara—2 kegs, 1 case, 1 bundle, 2 cases, 1 bundle, Bailie and Humphrey; 1 .parcel, White and Pyrie. The paddle steamer Bruce, with a goodly 'number of passengers on board, left for Grey•mouth and Hokitika at 4 p.m. yesterday. She 'had about 1100 ozs. of gold on board for the Bank of New Zealand. The s.s. Waipara reports leaving Hokitika :at 5.30p.m.0n Monday; arrived at Brighton at •1 a.m. the following morning ; left at 5 a.m. for Charleston, which port she entered at 6.30 a.m. ; lunded two portable steam engines and other cargo; left Charleston at 7-30 a.m. She brings one sick passenger en route for Nelson from the Charleston Hospital. She 'left again at 4 p.m. for Mokihinui. The schooner Escort, having been moved alongside Stanley Wharf, commenced dis ■charging yesterday morning.
