The s.s. Waipara reports leaving Hokitika :at 5.30p.m.0n Monday; arrived at Brighton at •1 a.m. the following morning ; left at 5 a.m. for Charleston, which port she entered at 6.30 a.m. ; lunded two portable steam engines and other cargo; left Charleston at 7-30 a.m. She brings one sick passenger en route for Nelson from the Charleston Hospital. She 'left again at 4 p.m. for Mokihinui. The schooner Escort, having been moved alongside Stanley Wharf, commenced dis ■charging yesterday morning.
