COMMERCIAL.
Wesport Times Office, January 18. The Customs' revenue received this day for import duties was only £6 17s lid, making the total for the week .£356 lis 9d, or with gold duty, £825 10s 3d. This is by no means so large an amount as has been received in many preceding weeks, and the movement of the port has been, doubtless, a good deal affected by the prevailing dullness of trade, and somewhat, perhaps, by the want of water-side facilities for shipping since the wharves were swept away, as ship-owners may be in some degree deterred from sending their vessels to a port so ill-pro-vided, but there is every reason to hope that this will be speedily remedied, and we shall very shortly have to notice a largely increased activity in commercial affairs. Prices rule same as last week, with few alterations.
