WEDDING AT MASTERTON.
Atthe Masterton Wesleyan Church . this morning, a pretty wedding took !place, Miss Edith Lilly Day (eldest daughlor of Mr J. Day, of Master- | ton), being united to Mr Cliarlos ! James Owlish, second son of Mr 0. jH, Oldish, of Wellington. The bride looked charming in ahandsome | dress of cream epangoline, trimmed ; with cream lace and tho usual veil and orange blossoms, also carrying: a very pretty bouquet. She was attended by Miss Gertrude Day (sister), Misses Edith and Kate Owlish (sisters to the bridegroom). Miss Annie Redding (Wellington), l Miss Amelia Betty (Masterton), and Miss Amy Clark (Otaki), each attired in cream French serge, trimmed with cream ribbon, and large hats with ribbons and Marguerite daisies, and all carrying bouquets of Marguerite daisies and fans to match. Mr R. Krahagcu acted as best man, tho : ceremony being performed by the Roy. J, Dukes. The bride's mother , was becomingly dressed in a pretty j black Henrietta cloth trimmed with 'old-gold beaded trimmings, with ; bonnet to match. At the conclusion ! of tho service Miss Williams played j the Wedding March, and the yonng .couple were greeted with showers of ■ rice on leaving the Church, Break- ; fast was partaken of at the residence |of the bride's parents, about forty ! friends and relatives sitting down. IMr and Mrs Owlish left on their honeymoon trip this afternoon, I the bride wearing a well-made j light grey travelling dress with 1 bat to match. Mr and Mrs Ordish started their journey today with the good wishes of their many frionds for future happiness and prosperity. The large number of costly and handsome wedding presents ivas an evidence of tho esteem in which the young couple are held,
