THE DEAN CONSPIRACY CASE.

(Received December 17,10.30 p.m. I Sidney, December 17.

In the Dean conspiracy case today tbe jury intimated that after reviewing the evidence they had decided to acquit Crick. Crick was therefore acquitted, amidst applause. The Judge, addressing the jury, thanked them for the great consideration they had given the case. Although there were one or two matters which required explanation on Mr Crick's part, he thought the verdict just, and full concurred with it.

Mr Crick thanked His Honor for his kindness, but tbe Judge added it was not mere kindness, batsimplj justice.
