MEETING OF CIiEDITOIiS.

A meeting of creditors in the estate of Eupcrt Fairbrother, of Carterton, bankrupt, was held yesterday, the D.0.A., Mr \Y. E. Chcnnells, presiding. The following resolutions were passed: —Mr Aitkcn moved and Mr Stringer seconded that the tender of Mr F. Feist for the stock at lis !)d in the £ be accepted. Carried.

Jlr 6. Fairbrother proposed anil Mr Cook seconded that the 1),0. A. be requested to collect book debts as expeditiously ns possible.—Curried. Mr Moriarty proposed and Mr Edwards seconded that tho furniture be handed back !o Mrs Fairbrother—Carried On the motion of Mr Aitken it was decided to adjourn the meeting to a date to be fixed by the Assignee.
