NORTH WAIRARAPA BENEVOLENT SOCIETY.
MONTHLY MEETING,
The regular monthly meeting of tl|o North Wairarapa Benevolent Society was held on Thursday morning, present Mrli. T, Holmes, (Chairman) W. H. Beetlmm, E. D. Dagg, E, Feist and Cockbum Hood.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Letters were read from the North Wairarapa County Council notif jing that Mesars li. T. Holmes, W, H. Bccthnm, 11. D. Dagg, and Cockhum-Hood had been appoinfed to represent the County upon fhe'Nofth' Wairarajia' Benevolent 'foist. ' ' 1 v " From tho Mastcrtonßoroi)gh appointing the Mayor and Cr Foist as their representatives on the North Wairarapa Benevolent Trust.
[ Mr 11. T._ Holmes was unanimously elected chairman for the ensuiug year, and ahpirty voto of thanks was accorded |ijm fpr past sofriccg. Mr J}.' D. Djjgg, drew the atfpnfiop of the Trustees, and expressed rpgref, fit fact of Mr &, Heron aitonding' so few meetings during the past year, He eonsidered the Mayor of Masterton should in any case htvc a scat upon tho Trust and a-voicc in the expenditure of the funds.
All casual and regular cases were ordered to be continued till next mcotand the schedule of accounts was passed for payment. , Owing to the additional expondituro during, the -winter it has been found neeessary'tomak« an additional draw bf £SO from tho resorvefund to meet 'cjirfept' •.'''
