MONTHLY MEETING,

Tho regular monthly meeting of tho Masterton School Committee was held last evening, Present, Messrs E. Feist (chairman), C. E. Danioll, W. Morris, P. A. Rive, T. Wagg, R, E. Hornblow, W. M. The Head Tcacljer reported 591 on the roll, with an avorage attendance of 473, being a per ceqtage of 80, For the first two or three weeks of the past month tho attendance showed a great improvement, but since tho 25th tilt., it has not been satisfactory. On the above date a' heavy storm camo on just beforo noon, and the continuous downpour caused tho absenco of three hundred children in the afternoon, tho attendance recorded being the lowest for several years.
