The win of Crisp, who ig only 20 years of age, created great surprise, as lie has only been cycling for the last 18 months. Time' 4min 42 l-ssec. FIVE-JfILE INTERCOLONIAL SCPATOIJ RACE, Parsons, Victoria l Martin, America ~2 Porta, Italy ~ ~ ~ g Parsons caught the pacing tandep) in the first lap, itnd hanging on to led all tho way, and won, pulling up by half a lap. Parsons beat Portf). by twenty yards. Time, 12min 35 1 -ssec. Parsons afterwards gave ai|| exhibition lap, and,paced by a triple* tandem, travelled the distance in 28 4-ssec,, which is the record.
