Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. 2. All races upon this programme lire open to "hacks" only. 3. "Hack' 5 shall mean horses that have never won an advertised race exceeding the value of 10 govs, at time of start (hack and hunter races excepted), and that are not nominated for a Derby, Guineas, St. Lcgcr or Sapling Stakes at time of start. 4. All entries to be scaled anil addressed to the Secretary, at I'aliiatua. Entrance money enclosed, with name, age at time of entry, pedigree, and performances < f horse, name of owner, and colours of, the rider. Any jockey riding except in the colours entered will be lined 3 sovs. (i. When two or more horses start the property of the same owner, a distinguishing colour must be worn. 0. All persons intending to withdraw horses are requested to give notice to the Secretary or Clerk of the Scales one half-hour before the advertised time of starting.
