From Our Own Comspmlni. Greytown, Monday. The Tararua JRanges were partially fpered with a coating ot snow again is week, owing to the extremely cold weather experienced. The woather this week is glorious. Shearing has recommenced, and haymaking has already begun in some places. The Rev. J. Dukes preached a very impressive sermon in the Wcsloyan Church on Sunday ovening. Constable lintton is in charge of 1 our local police station, while our local constable has gone to Wellington.
