MONTHLY MEETING.
Tbe ordinary meeting of tbo Land Board was held yesterday. Present ■-Messrs W.A. Fitzberbert (in the fliir), A. W. Hogg, M.H.R., and T?W. Fisher. The Commissioner and Mr F. Pimm, M.H.R,, were present in tbe afternoon. The following titles were granted: 0. A. Christiansen, section 85, Block VIII, Makuri; F. Lehndorf, section 22, Block V, Makuri; M. Simpson, section 20, Block VII, Mangaone; A, Stewart, section 12, Block XII, Ongo; T. Thompson, section 29. Block XV, Apiti. The following transfers wero approved Hornblow and Wilsono toj R. E. Hornblow, section 30, Ac,, Mangaone; S. Coombes to E. P. Nun, section 1, Block X, Aohanga, Tenure conversions approyed A, Askew, section 35, Block XIV, Mangaone; A- Cameron, section 93, JJlock I, Makuri; J. Danensen, sec?: tionßß, Block I, Makurj, Transfers to be approved if conditions complied with ;~E. Redwood, section 2£>, Block IV, Mang aono; J. Pol, section 2, Block VIII, Mangaone; W. L, R, Dorset, section 11, Block IV, Kopuaranga. Capitalisations accepted:-J, R, Melntosh, section 29,- Block IV, *,utoi ; P. Kennedy, section 45, ck VI, Tararua; J. Parker was granted 12 months to effects improvements, proTiding his statements are confirmod. The transfer of section 17, Block V., Aohanga, from K. Hammond to W, Edgar, was refused, An application from W. J. O'Donnell to reconsider refusal to transfer Section 9, Block XIX., Mangahao, was declined. In reference to F. Wilson's objection to the rental of Section 7, Block IX,, Tararua, it was decided to reply that the Board has no power to alter the true prices of the land. It was decided to give the settlors notice of the Makuri re-valuations for improvements, so that those who wished to surrender could do bo before the sections were again offered for sale. '»was decjded not to rescind for- , felurii of Section 77' at Mangatainok'tti 'as 'no evidence had been submitted from the Waste Lands Comjhittee. 'The Board then adjourned till the lOtliDecemder.
