LORD GLASGOW AT MASTEUTON.
His Eicellency Lord Glasgow, accompanied by Lady Glasgow and Sir Henry Norman (ox-Governor of Queensland), Major Elliott and Capt. Preston, arrived in Masterton by special train at 12.150 this afternoon. They were met by Mr W. H. Deetham and driven to his residence for lunch. It was intended to visit the Jlasterton Hatcheries and other places, but the change in weather caused this programme to be abandoned. The Gubernatorial party return to Wellington this afternoon. Mr T. E, Donne, traffic manager on tbo Wellington section, came through with the train.
