London, Novomber 20, Jabez Balfour has been found guilty on tho first charge of embezzlement. Seutenco has beeu postponed, Secekei November 22,1 a.m, London, November 21. All the nccused in the charges arising out of tho Liberator Building I Society frauds havebeen foune guilty with the exception of Dibley, in whose case the jury were unable to agree. The charges on which Jabez Balfour, Brock and Theobald have been found guilty aro in connection with the Lands Allotment Compttay, of issuing false' reports arid' cooked balance-sheets. The defence was that values had tp be altered owing to depression in trade, Five other charges have yet to be heard.
