A. meeting of the Fire Brigade Cricket Club was held Jast eveniug, Captain Jackson in the chair, The minutes of the previous meeting woro read and confirmed, Mr D, Jackson tendered his resignation as captain of the 01uh ; which was accepted with regret, and Mr E. Harland was elected to fill the office for the ensuing seam. The Club decided to hold a social on Monday eveniug next, tho 25th November,, at 8 p.m., in the band room, It was also decided to play a match, Married v, Single, ou Saturday next at 8 p.m., at which all members are requested to attend. i i ' ' , ' ' , i
