Sydney, November 19. A light bridge thrown across the i W' river near Bonrke, impeded traffic on tho river, and as it prevented a river steamer from passing, tho Captain of the steamer requested the contractors to reinovo the obstruction, Tho latter stated that tho structure had been handed over to the Government, and declined to interforo in the matter. The Captain thereupon attached a tow-line to oue of the supports of the bridge, and unceremoniously hauled the whole structure down, and wlion tho debris bad been washed away, quietly proceeded on his voyage.
