From Our Oicii Correspondent. Greytowx, Monday. The Oddfellows' Concert, held iu tho Foresters' Hall, last night, was fairly well attended. Mr H, W, Tate occupied the Chair. Bro. Kershaw, C.S., and' Bro. Jordan, Proy! G.M., delivered addrossos on the benefits of Oddfellowsbip, and referred to the progress the order has made. During the overling, a capital programme of songs, ic,, wasrendered. The following took part: —Mrs Shearer, Miss Roberts and Miss Hall, and Messrs T. Rowse, Kershaw, W. A. Tate, Jordon, and J, K, Hornblow, Bro, Loasby also ' gave a short address, Mrs W. A. ( Rowse and Mrs A. Knell kindly I played the accompaniments for tho j I singers. A vote of thanks to jhb j singers, terminated tho meeting. The funeral of tho late Mrs \ Butcher took place yesterday. The , Jjey, lather McKenna conducted tire ; b'ofial gervice. A'! 'garden party is to be hold shortly in connection with the "Wcbleyan Church, A magic lantern exhibition is to be given in the Wesleyan Schoolroom. to-morrow evening by the Rev. J, Gibson. The Featherston second eleven de- . feated tho Greytown second on tho t Greytown Reserve last Saturday.
