CRICKET.
An interesting cricket match was played recently at Daijeeling betweon ladies and gentlemen, Tho right arms of the gcatlemen were "Ad up, and they had to playleftTanded with a bat one-fourth the size of the ordinary cricket bat. In tlio !■ first innings the gentlemen made 91 and as the ladies only mado 80 runs in their first innings they wero put in again, when they made 76. A Mrs Marshall made 12 in the first innings, and 26 not out in the second innings. All tho gentlemon woro bowled except one, who wont out ■ - for lpg-before-wicket,
